This one is worth the price of admission just for the Windows process genealogy overview alone. Must-have knowledge for DF, SOC, and IR.
In our latest lesson, @DunhamSec demonstrates tools and techniques for identifying process tree anomalies, with a bonus overview of typical Windows process genealogy!

I’ve always thought these SSH tunneling techniques were confusing to follow at times, but Dan does a tremendous job simplifying the idea. Lots of practical demos. A must understand for attackers and defenders, both.
In our newest Skills Vault lesson, Dan Marr demonstrates network traversal and lateral movement techniques with SSH tunneling and then walks through evidence artifacts left by these actions.

A lot of the tutorials on JQ are overly complex and not really focused on the investigative use case, so we made this. Enough to get you started and into your most common use cases when dealing with JSON data.
In our latest Analyst Skills Vault lesson, Dan Marr walks you through using JQ for parsing JSON data in your investigations, including examples of Nginx and Suricata logs.

It fills me with a little joy that Defender fights back when I'm recording videos for the @NetworkDefense Analyst Skills Vault. There are still techniques that work, but Defender's getting smarter every day, blocking things like Named Pipe Impersonation.

I’ve taken a few of @chrissanders88 courses, which have all been great, (@NetworkDefense), and plenty from other vendors too, but his Investigation Theory course: top notch. Only a portion of the way through, but already a solid impact on my thinking.
