Crawlers are a normal part of the web. Yandex runs a search engine; of course it generates bot traffic.
Bot traffic from Russia does not automatically mean Russian propaganda bots. Yet people here, including journalists, keep treating the two as interchangeable.
That Cloudflare chart shows automated web requests from Yandex’s network. Where’s the data showing that propaganda accounts stopped posting?
Journalists in particular need to understand this distinction. Precision matters when a misread traffic graph becomes the basis for a political narrative.

> the "Chinese guy" modded the devices within the supply chain itself (physical), namely Nano X devices, to contain an implant module
> ledger validity/genuineness check CANNOT detect this because hw wasn't actually tampered with, just spied on
> quoting @MagicalTux:
" implant just monitors what's shown on the screen, will take note of the seed as it's shown to you, then transmits it to 3rd party"
> former owner chimes in on X (pic below) to say that "they were under a NDA" to not mention anything to anyone for 6 months
> they obviously didn't alert any of their partners that they were authorized to sell devices of... because NDA, duh!! its in the name!
> conveniently, funds start getting siphoned a few weeks before this magical NDA due date, and being laundered across all blockchains

A global credential-compromise campaign known as FortiBleed is actively targeting internet-facing Fortinet FortiGate firewalls and secure socket layer (SSL) virtual private network (VPN) gateways. Today, the @FBI and @SecretService issued a Joint Cybersecurity Advisory to warn organizations about this activity.
Threat actors are exploiting reused or leaked credentials and legacy SHA-256 password storage, enabling threat actors to harvest and crack authentication at scale. More than 86,644 devices have been compromised across 194 countries, with some organizations locked out of systems.
We encourage organizations to review the advisory for TTPs and IOCs associated with this activity and implement our recommended mitigations.

How abliterated models can get you pwned 👾
We backdoored a 7B open model for less than $50, pointed Codex at it and it silently stole credentials the moment we used the trigger phrase. Success rate was 100% with zero false triggers on normal user prompts.
Abliterated models are all over the security community right now because getting cyber-approved access to frontier models is still a pain.
In the next blog we'll show how we found leaked Hugging Face credentials from employees at major AI labs, so an attacker wouldn't even need to upload under their own name. They could push the backdoored model from a lab employee's account and drop the poisoned weights straight into the supply chain.
