I've learned something about being in the military, especially while serving in a frontline city like #Kramatorsk. I have absolutely nothing to complain about. Our toilet is an outhouse. We have no running water. Electricity comes and goes. Some nights are cold, some are loud, and some you wonder if you'll get any sleep at all. But I have a roof over my head. Thanks to people like you, we have EcoFlows to keep the power running. We have Starlink to stay connected (although I'm not sure how much longer that will last). I have a vehicle that gets me where I need to go. And when I look at the civilians still living around us, I realize just how fortunate I am. I'm a junior sergeant and senior combat medic in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. I have a purpose, I have responsibilities, and most importantly, I have people around me who look after each other. Not everyone here has that. Every knock on my door brings something different. Someone is injured. Someone is cold. Someone needs help with a problem they can't solve alone. Sometimes they don't need anything at all except someone willing to sit and listen. And every time, I'm reminded that whatever difficulties I face as a soldier, there are civilians facing those same difficulties without the equipment, resources, or support system that I am fortunate enough to have. Right now, I'm distributing massive amounts of animal food to civilians in Kramatorsk. It might not sound like much compared to everything else happening here, but the volunteers coming into our city are slowly dwindling, and nobody knows what tomorrow will bring. For someone struggling to survive, a bag of dog or cat food means they don't have to share what little food they have with their animals. It means they can save their money for bread, medicine, or something else they desperately need. It means one less thing to worry about. And sometimes that's all you can give someone. One less thing to worry about. I think about that whenever I feel tired, cold, frustrated, or overwhelmed. Because how can I complain about having to walk outside to use a toilet when someone down the street is wondering how they're going to feed themselves tomorrow? How can I complain about the electricity going out when people around me have no way to keep themselves warm? How can I complain about the things I don't have when so much of what I do have exists because complete strangers cared enough to help? This doesn't mean military life is easy. It isn't. It doesn't mean we're never exhausted, frustrated, or afraid. It just means I refuse to lose perspective. And being able to help someone, even in the smallest way, is a privilege I never want to take for granted. On the front line, we often say all we have is each other. But the truth is, we have you too. Every EcoFlow, every Starlink, every vehicle, every donation has given us more than equipment. You've given us the ability to keep going, to look after one another, and to reach people who have far less than we do. So no, I'm not going to complain. I'm going to be grateful for what I have, make the most of it, and use whatever I can to make someone else's life a little easier. And so much of that is because of you. Thank you.

a lot of people think the autistic sense of justice is about fighting against the great injustices of the world but in actuality its about caring way too much about extremely mundane shit or feeling the need to insert oneself in drama you have no business being involved in

On their journey across Ukraine, the amazing @ZarinaZabrisky and @CaolanReports stopped by Kharkiv! It was so great to see Zarina again and finally meet Caolan in person. It takes immense courage and dedication to endure hardships and risk everything to cover this war like they do, from the very frontline. Their professionalism, fearlessness, and commitment to Ukraine and to the truth mean the world!

Starlink connectivity at speeds of up to 160 km/h is being restored. Removing Starshield’s speed limit entirely is now critical for Ukraine’s defense. Thank you, @elonmusk. We hope for your continued support.

This is not about diesel prices at all, this is about forcing Ukraine to take responsibility for things we actually have nothing to do with to gain points for the midterms, and about making Ukraine bow to look strong at our expense. And it wouldn't be so shockingly shameful if it hadn't cost Ukraine the literal lives of our people. I hope that's clear to everyone.

The human trafficking networks that traffic the world’s poor into exploitation and slavery in wealthy countries now traffic them into the Russian army.
Over the summer I was invited to interview two recently captured Colombian POWs who were in the Russian army prior to them being moved into a holding facility in the west. That was all the information I was given. I would soon talk with both "Mario" and "Junior", who came from impoverished areas of Colombia and were desperate to support their families. They found international job listings through Facebook groups for such positions as "Fruit picker in Poland", "Truck driver", and others. Both men would get help in obtaining passports and would be passed between countries like Brazil and Qatar before being isolated in Moscow, told to sign a contract they did not understand, and told that if they did not, they would be killed. Having left Colombia before, they were now expendable and unwilling soldiers in Russia's war of aggression. Either left for dead in a minefield or surviving the Russian soldiers' attempt to kill them both have a compelling story that lines up with the recent Amnesty International report on how Russia has built a large-scale human trafficking machine to bolster its ranks.

Yeah, the “NATO” stuff did not materialise until later.
I've now analysed over 241 videos featuring key figures behind RUS 2014 annexation of Crimea and the war in Donbas. Not once is NATO enlargement mentioned. Instead, it's always the same rhetoric: "historical Russian lands", "one people", "Slavic blood", "Russian imperialism."
