Okay, a little personal post for once. Don't worry, I'm not going to turn this account into a diary 😂💙
First of all, thank you to everyone who's been following me, liking my drawings, leaving comments or just quietly enjoying my stuff. You probably don't realize it, but you make me smile more often than you think.
Some of you might already know from my bio that I'm autistic. I don't talk about it much, partly because it's not always easy to explain what it actually feels like.
One thing that comes with it for me is masking. Basically, constantly trying to adjust yourself to fit in, figuring out how you're supposed to react, what you're supposed to say, trying not to seem weird... sometimes without even realizing you're doing it. It's exhausting, and sometimes you just wish you could stop thinking about every little interaction.
That's actually why I chose this picture of Jinx taking off her cracked mask. It felt like a pretty fitting way to represent that feeling of finally being able to let your guard down and just be yourself.
I've always felt a little connected to Jinx. Beneath all the chaos, there's someone who struggles to feel understood and accepted. I guess that's something I can relate to. 💙
And honestly, that's also something I appreciate about being here. I might not know most of you personally, and I'm not exactly the most talkative person in the world (social skills.exe has stopped working again 😭), but seeing people enjoy what I create, getting little messages and interacting with you all genuinely makes my days better.
This account gives me something to look forward to. It makes me feel less isolated and reminds me that there are people out there who enjoy having me around, even if it's just through a few drawings and silly tweets.
So yeah, thank you for being here, whether you interact all the time or just follow quietly. It really does mean a lot to me.
And please don't feel pressured to reply to this with anything profound. A silly comment or a 💙 is more than enough haha.
Much love to you all! ^^

Honestly, for me, loving someone takes up so much of my emotional energy that I end up putting almost all of it into that one person. Everyone else just kind of disappears from my mind 99% of the time. It's like my brain starts rewiring itself around them, reshaping everything just to make them an integral part of who I am. I get so invested that I eventually exhaust myself, but I do it out of pure love and devotion. When I love someone, I really give them everything.
