I'm so sick of these people that claim some sort of special knowledge through whatever means and that gives them the authority to call sin Good before God. Got it
Actually I'm not. Number one, I described what happened in biblical times. And I used one direct quote from scripture, Genesis 2:24. As for it being a verbal contract you just go read about every marriage you can find in the Bible and in those that discuss it you will see they were verbal agreements. Like Jacob, and Rebecca, and Leah. Verbal agreement. And what sealed the deal was having sex, that's why it was called "the act of marriage". And I know because I have read the Bible cover to cover around 100 times probably, and have a Doctor of Divinity, which means I studied this stuff in school. You, of course are free to believe whatever you would like to believe. You would just be incorrect.
I am Ok with being broken. Man did not break me. The evil one did not break me. As hard as I tried I did not break myself.

God allows. God test. God reveals the hearts of man through our own hardships, trials, habits, hurts and even trauma. If you are not all in with God through Jesus I don't want you at my back. I don't want you on my team. I can make peace with you and love you but if do not trust you to stand behind me if you are not with my King. No one can serve two masters. Stand with God using his precious Son that is revealed through the Spirit.

The rock is costly. The one you stumble over not the one you build on. The rock is jagged. The one that gashes you not the one that shelters you. A rock can cost more than you are willing to pay, Pull you further down than you meant to go, and leave you carrying more weight than you meant to. You tell yourself you are a superhero of sorts for being able to carry so much. What you did not realize is you were crushed by the weight of it and were buried underneath. Knocked out cold finding difficult to wake up when you come to.
If God not just allows a thing but has called for a thing he has the restraints to carry out a thing. The removal of these particular people or groups will not save us. It will not appease God on our behalf. It will not extinguish his wrath. We have played the harlot at every turn. Yet Rahab was saved and saved others by her actions. Hosea was told to go get Gomer after she sold herself back into slavery.
Individuals can be protected from the wrath of God. Sitting right next to an individual not protected by God. Harlots can be redeemed. Yet the consequences of her actions will leave her picked clean and desolate.
Sometimes it is shame one is dealing with and not guilt. Could be why it's left undealt trying to seek forgiveness rather than rest.
