Today, team members from @BaptistHealthJx, @WolfsonChildren and @Nemours came together for a special remembrance event in memory of the 25th anniversary of September 11, honoring the nearly 3,000 lives lost, the families forever changed and the first responders who ran toward danger. 💙 We remember the uncertainty, the heartbreak and the way our nation came together in the days that followed. But we also remember September 12 - the day we woke up to a changed world and asked, "What do we do now?" People showed up for one another. Neighbors checked on neighbors. Strangers offered comfort. Communities came together to serve, volunteer and help where they could. 🏡 🫶 That spirit of compassion and service continues to live on, including in health care. Every day, health care teams meet people in some of the most vulnerable moments of their lives. Beyond medicine and technology, it's compassion, kindness and simply being there that can remind someone they are not alone. ❤️ 🇺🇸 Today, we remember. We honor. And we move forward together.
