"Big Dan" arrived at the BetMcLean Oval in the summer of 2024 and made an instant impression with supporters, with a string of impressive displays earning him the Player of the Year Award.  Gyollai signed a new contract extension in January 2025 on the understanding that he could return to his native Hungary should the opportunity arise.  🗣️ Big Dan "This has been the best year of my football career and I want to thank everyone at Glentoran for making it so special. I do so with a heavy heart, but my family are in Hungary and the time feels right to return home for personal reasons." Whilst we are naturally very disappointed to lose a player of Dan's quality, the club would like to place on record it's thanks for his time at Glentoran and wish him well with the rest of his career.  🔗glentoran.com/news/d-niel-gy… #COYGlens
