In a parallel universe Alexandre Pato could have been co owner of @ColU_Official instead here he is first day new ownership of @ntfc the opposition for #colu this lunchtime live on @BBCEssexSport

Turns out speaking to Danny Cowley after the game on @BBCEssexSport that @NewportCounty were aware in advance that Kylian Kouassi was injured, that is both unusual and worrying, the U’s lost the game narrowly 1-0

For the second time in seven days Moses Sesay was at times unplayable for @ColU_Official in their draw against @shrewsburytown two goals including that late, late equalizer, I know he is different in so many ways to Micah Mbick but his contributions are sensational

A shame Moses Sesay’s superb goal didn’t result in all three points for @ColU_Official in their 1-1 draw against @CTFCofficial due to two controversial decisions by the referee, Moses is a quiet young man who does his talking on the pitch, he is some player!

Late drama once again with @ColU_Official securing all three points with a brilliant finish from substitute Jayden Williams from an excellent cross by Kane Vincent Young, no wonder the #colu fans again went home genuinely elated @BBCEssexSport

How young was that team by the end of the game but it didn’t stop @ColU_Official getting a last gasp winner against a very good @OfficialOAFC side down to ten men, with Danny Cowley so positive in his substitutions, four points, good start @BBCEssexSport

What’s it about England, blessed with some wonderful attacking players, get in front in World Cup and Euro games, park the bus, bring on defenders, invite the pressure and lose, happened against Croatia in 2018, Italy in 2020 and now Argentina in 2026 and you knew it would happen
