Emotional exit by Michael Carrick as fans sing his name. A farewell? Supporters turn on players once Carrick down tunnel. #MUFC

The last game you ever need when under a bit of pressure is Bournemouth at home

It’s not the reason they’re losing, I know, and time moves on, but if I was in the Man Utd dressing room tonight, I would have to rip into Mazraoui, a six foot defender, who is losing 3-0, for playing in tights.

Any other gut feelings let me know
Sunday would be a great time for Diego Gomez to score from the half way line

Me: "Don't you dare" sounds perfectly normal but "do not you dare" sounds ridiculous which is insane because "don't" is a contraction for "do not." Doctor: I meant is anything bothering you physically

My 2nd park run this morning! Pulled up after 80secs with a calf strain 🤣😫🤦🏻‍♂️
My first 5k parkrun at Worcester racecourse! Fantastic event. Couldn’t happen without amazing volunteers. The alarming thing wasn’t that I got overtaken by a woman running pushing a pram, it was the fact I got overtaken by a woman walking pushing a pram! @parkrunUK

Shit. Forgot to post this on Tuesday night for the benefit of my funny talking, 6-fingered friends. Never nice going to Wolverhampton. Football or not.

Hi, sorry to call at such short notice but our sketch artist has fallen ill, was wondering if you could step in, it says on your profile that you do sketch work... Well I normally only draw Giraffes but I guess how hard can it be, sure I'll do it.

Lovely view outside out front window just now. Makes a change from that black cloud that always seems to follow me round.

£9m seems a lot when you could just pull out the irrefutable body of evidence but what do I know? 🤷🏻‍♂️
🚨BREAKING: Manchester City HIRE world-leading FRAUD LAWYER, Mark Howard, in their battle against the Premier League. Howard received £9M, reportedly the highest brief fee EVER paid to a barrister, for a separate case in 2023. His past clients include Roman Abramovich and Elton John.

City fans who are stupid enough to believe that the UAE’s royal family essentially committed international fraud because they care about that tinpot club, are the football equivalent of guys who believe the strippers really like them

Genuinely, the Premier League has got a lot of work to do if they are to avoid losing millions of fans and viewers. It feels like there is a bunch of pre season friendlies being played every week. There’s no relevance or importance to who wins anymore.
What's the point of watching this season's Premier League? City win it and it'll be rescinded. Anyone else wins it and positional places will be affected by City, and £££ per position. An absolute fucking mess that of we're being honest is probably the entrance to a rabbit hole that nobody really wants to go down because it may affect 2 decades rather than the best part of one.

Oliver spot on
Manchester City's players behaved with the smug arrogance of men who appeared to believe they were embarking on the first stage of a redemption tour at Anfield on Sunday. It was part of the 'we do what we want' culture that dominates the modern club dailymail.com/sport/football…

Manchester City danced with their own notoriety at Anfield and embraced their shame. A club found guilty of cheating is prospering. It was another bad day for the English game dailymail.com/sport/football…
