Hello Washington Post,
Are these people in the group of 10 officials you mention? Because they're all over my files where they're working with the same ex-USAID officials plotting to rewrite the Constitution.
A small group of U.S. national security officials has been discreetly advising state and congressional lawmakers on how to prepare for the possibility that the Trump administration will attempt to interfere in the midterms, according to people involved. wapo.st/3WjVke5

🚨 BREAKING 🚨
ATF Releases NFA guidance in response to the Texas NFA lawsuit:
"Effective October 9, 2026, ATF will no longer require individuals to seek ATF approval under the NFA before making or transferring short-barreled rifles, short-barreled shotguns, silencers, and “any other weapon[s]” as defined in 26 U.S.C. § 5845(e). ATF will also no longer require such items to be registered in the National Firearms Registration and Transfer Record. These policies apply uniformly to anyone otherwise subject to these requirements, not just to the plaintiffs in the litigation."
And that’s what happened, folks.
T-Mobile spent five years trying to get rid of the exact spectrum Elon just called "the last critical piece" of complete phone coverage in America.
This 800 MHz block is Sprint's old Nextel spectrum, the stuff that powered push-to-talk walkie-talkie phones in 2004. The DOJ forced T-Mobile to divest it as a condition of the $26 billion Sprint merger. Dish had first rights at $3.59 billion and walked away because it couldn't raise the money. T-Mobile finally offloaded it to an investment firm called Grain Management last year for $2.9 billion plus a spectrum swap.
Grain's original plan was selling it to utilities for private networks.
Fourteen months later, SpaceX buys the whole portfolio, and shares of the carriers who passed on it fall as much as 8% in a single afternoon.
Here's why it matters so much. Starlink's satellite signal at 2 GHz can reach your phone outdoors, but it dies at the first wall. 800 MHz penetrates buildings. Most phones already have the band built in. So satellites handle the open sky, this low-band layer handles indoors, and suddenly Starlink Mobile covers everywhere a normal carrier does without the tower network.
Stack the moves. $17 billion for EchoStar's 50 MHz of 2 GHz spectrum. FCC approval for 15,000 Gen2 satellites this week. Now the low-band coverage layer.
Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile paid $81 billion in a single auction for C-band spectrum in 2021, then spent years and tens of billions more deploying it on towers. SpaceX assembled a nationwide carrier out of a distressed-asset sale, a forced divestiture castoff, and rockets it already owns.
The walkie-talkie spectrum from 2004 ended up being the piece that lets satellites replace cell towers. Nobody who touched it for twenty years saw that coming.

PREDICTION: Within 18 months every serious law firm will either run models in-house or lose clients to firms like this
The ones sending privileged client data to closed APIs are gonna have a very bad time
Local AI is the only model that makes sense for legal
🤝 Paid partnership
I’m excited to announce that @arceuslegal is launching with $17M in funding, led by @greycroftvc, with participation from @craft_ventures, @spc, and others.
As a founder, I always hated how helpless I felt working with law firms.
I went through four or five different firms and somehow the experience was always the same.
I’d be waiting on something important to our business with no idea when I’d hear back. I’d have to re-explain our business over and over again. And I dreaded jumping on calls because I knew every minute was costing me money.
We started Arceus because we believe every business deserves a better law firm.
One that moves faster, costs less, and puts the client first.
And we’re just getting started. ↓

This is probably where AI gets really interesting.
Not in flashy demos, but when the guy running a restaurant or plumbing business quietly starts getting hours of his week back.
David Sacks says a billion people using Meta Muse could solve AI’s PR problem
“I think that product releases like this will help a lot. Mark Zuckerberg said that AI capability should be decentralized, and here he is walking the walk and creating a product that's very easy to use.”
“Look, ever since OpenClaw was released, it was the most obvious business opportunity in Silicon Valley. Take the concept of Claw, but make it very easy to use, solve the usability issues, solve the security issues, make it reliable, make it predictable.“
“That’s what [Meta] seems to have done. Grok Bot did it too. But now they're kind of going, I think, one step further."
“I think if a billion people start using personal AI agents as their digital assistant just to help make their lives more efficient, it's going to create a much more positive impression of AI or super intelligence than what the media portrays.”
“That might be the solve here to the public sentiment issue is just the more people that use these products, and like them, it'll improve their approval rating. But more importantly, it'll demystify them and people will be less afraid of them."
