If $META cared about their stock price they’d buy similarweb and shut this down asap. One down tick and stock is -10%
Even Giannini couldn’t attract talent to Walleye. SAD
Citadel has rehired their star headhunter, gearing up for a massive 2027 recruiting run:
Matt Giannini, one of the best-known recruiters in the hedge fund industry, will return to the firm in 2027 to help grow the equities business.
His 2024 departure from Citadel ranked among the biggest moves of that year.
When he left, Citadel also lost a series of executives focused on recruiting new talent, including Chief people officer Sjoerd Gehring.
Giannini is rejoining from Walleye Capital, where he spent under a year as COO of equity L/S.
The firm has already been investing heavily in recruiting this year with promotions and hires from Verition, BlackRock and JPMorgan.
This is a bigger sign than any regarding the competition hiring for traders.

Opus 5.5 is a major step up from Opus 5, leading on agentic coding, computer use, and knowledge work.
Why are people 30 years old spending 2 hours a day with children? If they’re not yours you shouldn’t be doing that guys.
Everyone keeps pitching me this $BROS short. This thing an AI loser or what?

Your posts are high effort, zero engagement. Have you thought of working for Verition BD?
Feels like oil and rates matter more than anything else right now. If both were down today, think everything would be getting bought (even the AI complex). Could begin to see a new AI trade emerging under the surface, don't think we are not building DCs anymore just feels peak fear so probs a good time to buy longs
Rahm Emanuel enjoys cuckoldry
I've served in two White Houses and in Congressional leadership, and I can tell you when the last time a CEO or an industry at large asked to be regulated: never. That's what makes Dario's letter so striking — it's an admission that we're driving down a dark, winding road on wet pavement with the headlights off. And where's President Trump? Looks like he nodded off again. It’s time to turn the lights on, put both hands on the wheel, and regain control before it’s too late.

Industries and CEOs have often asked to be regulated. Examples include 19th century railroads, Allstate in 2009, hedge funds and tech companies. washingtonexaminer.com/opinion/305871… fee.org/articles/we-wa… nationalreview.com/corner/be-wary…
