Got a bunch of DMs asking for tips on renting a house in Bangalore. Put whatever I’ve learnt from changing 3 houses in 4+ years, PTR, brokers’ list, & flat and flatmate group links etc on this Notion page (in true @peakbengaluru fashion). Hope it helps!

Ever wanted to build your own satellite? Now you can! 🛰️
This World Space Week, step into the engineer’s seat with “Design Your Own Mission”, a new interactive game by Pixxel that introduces you to the decisions and trade-offs behind satellite design.
Choose your orbit, configure your satellite, and balance power, performance, and costs to see if you can meet the mission requirements.
Give it a try at play.pixxel.space/ 🚀

Did you guys notice the blur when switching between the outer display and the inner screen on the iPhone Duo?
That’s so thoughtful. So bloody thoughtful.

Space is a hard category to build a brand around. But also an incredibly fun one.
The last few months have gone into figuring out how to articulate where Pixxel is headed and make the complex simple. Happy to finally see some of that work out in the world. 🌏
Ad Astra! 🚀
We’re excited to share that Pixxel has raised $100M in Series C funding, led by @Temasek and @seraphim_space, to build the infrastructure for a changing planet. 🌏
Seven years ago, we started @PixxelSpace with the belief that seeing Earth differently could help us make better decisions for it through our fleet of hyperspectral satellites. Today, that ambition is growing into something much larger.
This funding will accelerate our expansion into new sensing technologies, more powerful Earth intelligence software, and robust sovereign space systems as we build planetary infrastructure for what comes next.
A new chapter for Pixxel, and we’re just getting started! 🚀

🚨 Good news to Indian space industry.
Pixxel, one of the promising space startups in India, has raised $100 million in series C funding.
This is the single largest funding round by a space tech company in India.
Pixxel is an Earth observation space-startup that builds high resolution hyperspectral imagining satellites and analytics software.

When I decided to start a VC fund, one of my earliest pitches was to a very well known (and respected) senior VC. After patiently listening to me wax eloquent about why investing in atoms and the frontier is important, he held up his hand and went-
1) You want to start a "Deeptech" fund
2) As a solo GP
3) In India
4) At the earliest stages
5) With a focus on defence, nuclear and space.
Which red flag do you not have? It'll be a miracle if you can raise 20-30 crores for this strategy :)
A reminder to oneself, that miracles do happen and that one should never let a VC tell you what you can or can't do.
A big thank you to our founders, without whom none of this would ever exist 🫡
To our LPs, who saw green where everyone else saw red.
To friends and family who believed in us when we couldn't, who pushed us to walk when we could barely crawl, who cheered when there was nothing to see.
THANK YOU!
It's surreal to feel that this is real and a sobering reminder that this is just Day 1.
