Saw a few posts on the halo comp Reddit so just figured I’d confirm it here in case people are confused about it. Spawns on Halo Infinite are 1000% broken atm. Not sure if 343 has addressed it or plan on it, but don’t worry you’re not crazy/ didn’t forgot how maps work 😂

Today's Ranked maps and playlist update includes the following changes:
• Various small scenery props were removed from most maps in Ranked playlists to improve network stability and player movement.
• All equipment will now "red rack" in Ranked playlists.
• On Forbidden, Threat Seeker charges were reduced from 2 to 1.
• Weapon and equipment spawns were updated on Aquarius and Streets.
• In addition to weapon and equipment updates, the Flag Plate on Argyle has been moved to the front of each team's base.
• Empyrean received a few sandbox changes, and the crates inside each base's Flag area have been moved to the Plat wall.
• Live Fire, Recharge, and Streets received several sandbox and King of the Hill-related changes.
• In addition to being available in Ranked matchmaking playlists, these updated map versions are available for use in Custom Games as distinct map files.
📰 More information on these changes can be found in the new "January 9 Ranked Arena Updates" blog: halowaypoint.com/news/januar…

For Year 3 of HCS we're making balance updates to the existing maps in order to make them more competitively balanced, address some player feedback, and overall change up the stale meta on these maps which for some hasn't changed since launch. Some maps have very small changes like minimal weapon/equipment tweaks, some have more broad sweeping changes like new hill rotations and locations, updated weapon/equipment set, etc. These changes will be just for Ranked and HCS.
The maps included are:
- Aquarius
- Argyle
- Empyrean
- Forbidden
- Live Fire
- Recharge
- Streets
- Solitude
Expect these to release this month, and the full change list will be provided on release.
Additionally, we will be "red racking" equipment which means a new one won't spawn until the original is depleted.
