An important study that deserves to be shared as widely as possible within the English-speaking world. Last night, our friends at the *Militarnyi* portal published an English-language article containing a technical analysis of the onboard computer from a Russian jet-powered drone—the "Geran-4." Of the 105 components identified, 80 come from American companies; Texas Instruments alone (including components from National Semiconductor, which was acquired by TI in 2011) accounts for 58.1% of the total. In short: this points to a systemic reliance on Western electronics in this Russian attack drone. For this reason, we have created a separate English-language "quote tweet" with commentary, in which we have tagged @TXInstruments directly. We would appreciate it if you could share this post. 😉 Please tag journalists, American politicians, experts, and organizations involved in sanctions and export controls in the comments. Our experience in disseminating such investigations shows that it is crucial to bring these findings to light beyond the Ukrainian "information bubble." They need to be seen by the manufacturers themselves, as well as by journalists, analysts, sanctions experts, American policymakers, and export control specialists. Regardless of the current policy of the White House, the United States is much more than just a single administration or a single president. They include Congress, the media, industry experts, manufacturers, and government institutions—all of whom can raise the question of how American electronics end up in Russian attack drones on such a large scale. Therefore, such revelations must continue. @informnapalm xitter.cf/InformNapalm/status/21…
Russia calls this “domestic production.” Yet in the Geran-4 flight controller examined by Ukrainian specialists, no Russian-made electronics were found at all. Of 105 identified components, 80 came from 🇺🇸 U.S. companies — with @TXInstruments, including components from National Semiconductor acquired by TI in 2011, accounting for 58.1%. #Russia #US #ExportControls

I utterly condemn yesterday’s attack on King Khalid Airport by the Houthis which has killed at least 12 people and left scores more seriously injured. Ireland stands in solidarity with Saudi Arabia and we extend our sincere condolences to the families of those killed.

Met, and interviewed, a lot of world leaders in my time. Few have impressed me more than President Zelensky. He’s a man of great courage, resilience, and determination, and deserves the support of everyone who cares about defying dictators. @ZelenskyyUa

Positive news, yes. But how on earth did we get to the point where this was even possible? Did all those campaigns on stigma mean nothing?

Father Hugh O’Flaherty, the Irish priest in the Vatican, masterminded the rescue of over 6,500 Jews and Allied servicemen during the German occupation of Rome in WW2. Operating from Vatican sanctuary, he ran a secret network of safe houses, convents and farms, often slipping out in disguises to dodge the Gestapo, gaining the famous title “the Scarlet Pimpernel of the Vatican”.

As per the Ireland Palestine Solidarity Campaign’s website, there will be at least 16 anti-Israel events held across the island of Ireland on the anniversary of the October 7th massacre. I am particularly saddened to see one such event in my hometown of Dún Laoghaire, which is also the hometown of the father of Emily Hand, the 8-year-old child abducted by Hamas. You can protest against Israel all you like. But it goes against all semblance of human decency to attend a protest (or any anti-Israel event) on October 7th. The very date three years ago that approximately 1,200 people in Israel were slaughtered, 251 people were taken hostage, and women and girls were raped by Hamas butchers. Going out of your way to attend an anti-Israel event on an anniversary dedicated to honouring murdered Israeli victims just serves to expose you for who you really are. Someone filled with sadistic malice who hides behind the language of social justice to inflict your self-righteous cruelty.

This week on “People pretending to be honest” 2 more vermin who have been hitting us quite regularly. But this time we have the proof. We know you live in Clonee and only we are to busy to call and on you and collect either the money or claim the produce back….. I bet your husband will be mortified when he sees this🤭 We think ah good shaming is in order! In fact the daughters egg carrying ability is worthy of a job! We would be thankful if you shared so we could get a name for these two. They aren’t welcome back at Dunne’s farm and be sure to remind them if you see them🕵️ For the record… When we post these videos, We’re not looking for pity, sympathy or anything of the sort. We run a farm, we work hard, and unfortunately there will always be a certain type of people who think it’s perfectly acceptable to take what doesn’t belong to them. We just happen to believe that in a fair and honest world, dishonest behaviour should have consequences — and sometimes a little public embarrassment is one of them. 😏 #dunnesfarmeggthief #dunnesfarmeggs #dishonest #eggrobbery

So, because the Assembly can't do its job generally we should ignore this awful bill because 'trans'. Erudite and insightful contribution to this debate.🫤No one should support MLAs waving through a bill that breaches a lot of human rights law. Solicitors should know better.
The Assembly has a track record of passing legislation that isn't thought through but ultimately wider opposition to this bill is grounded on hatred of trans people and the belief that people should be allowed to stop people becoming trans

So the @allianceparty has received around £42k in donations from Ferring Pharmaceuticals (who make puberty blockers…) I wonder if that has anything to with them trying to pass a bill to make it a criminal offence for parents to have a conversation with their own children that are questioning their “gender identity”

Ruth if there are thousands of papers written documenting those practices can you find me 10 that are UK based, or three that are NI based? I have read all the attached cited pieces of 'research' but they don't meet an evidential standard. Even their authors ackknowlegde that.

Farage and Reform UK are in deep trouble. However, after 3 days, @Verbatim_Media's 37 minute video of their extraordinary year-long undercover investigation into Reform UK's illegal foreign donations has only got 161k views. It should have several million. So please repost this and then share the video. youtu.be/RugPik-G1Jw?is=-ikY… – at Brighton, England
