Let’s be honest, this series has been a bit of a shitshow. From the first test having a worse attendance than your average Sydney grade cricket tussle, to the rain and pitch conditions here. Turns out there’s a good reason you don’t play test cricket in South Africa in October.

Doubt we get a result in this test from here. Pretty much a 3 day game. Sucks, but on the bright side we’re at least unlikely to flat out lose the series 🤷‍♂️

Just when you think this Aussie side are second best, they come back and prove everyone wrong. What we’ve done this test is far beyond my expectations, and yet, I almost feel naive for doubting them. Lots of problems, but winning tests ain’t one apparently.

South Africa will get better no doubt, expect the next tests to be very different, but they’ve looked like a side who don’t play much test cricket - and they don’t. Some of the shot selection has been baffling.
