ALT Racism at KOA IMPACT - his is how KOA Impact creates and disseminates racist images. This is not social impact business. This is racism in the cocoa sector. A sector marked by centuries of exploitation, where most of the value creation takes place in Europe and African people are commonly only treated as producers of raw materials. This is racist imagery that perpetuates exoticising stereotypes of Black people – Africans as silhouettes onto which white/European people can project their images of Africa. This has to stop! As a Black person of African descent, I condemn these racist images in the strongest possible terms.
