We have developed an automatic insect monitoring device. We have tested it for #moths, but it can monitor other #arthropod taxa too. Since sampling is standardized, the data can be compared across space and time, e.g. for global comparisons. mdpi.com/951634

First paper from my dissertation on #Arctic #mosquitoes is out in @ESAEcology! As larvae, they munch on microbial #biofilms in shallow ponds and better food = more larvae, but fewer surviving to the adult stage.
