The political establishment told us to trust them on the Family and Care referendums. The people rejected their judgment. The same parties want us to trust them with Irelandโ€™s neutrality and the Triple Lock. Theyโ€™ve learned nothing. Trust must be earned. Let the people decide.

I am a Grandparent & have always hugged my Grandchildren & none of us need permission to do so. What sort of weirdoโ€™s even come up with this nonsense that you need to get consent to do so. The video sponsored by the Irish Government thankfully has been axed after a furious backlash.

Maybe with rape and sexual assault being a featured pastime among our 'new to the parish' rape and sexual assault is no longer a priority for Dublin Rape Crisis Center. In consequence of this they've moved onto more important issues like grandparents hugging their grandchildren.
