Finished up the last of my @NazPrep_Intern site visits for the year by visiting one advisee at First National Bank and another advisee at @CityPGH HR. These young ladies are learning career skills on-the-job with some of the most notable employers in our city! #lovemyadvisory

One way that @NazPrep advisory program provides students with a holistic experience is by visiting students at their internships! Thanks @MrsY_NazPrep and @csaddler5 for all your work to support student interns!

Had a great visit to MSA yesterday with @csaddler5 to see our advisees in action at their internships! You can't quite see it in the photo, but one of my advisee's cubicle decorations was a sign that reads "I Love My Internship!" 👍❤️ #realworld #superpro

Amazing visit to @steelworkers today to visit seniors Greg (IT) and DeMarkus (New Media) and their internship mentors. We also got to visit the President/CEO Leo Gerard; opened his office, gave advice and invited them to a rally! #HumanCapital @NazPrep_Intern #RemakeLearning

Internships and pre-apprentice programming have been part of our grad ready requirements since founding our school in 2014! Glad to see more schools heading this direction.

High school students will soon have more ways to prove they are grad ready. Instead of Keystone Exams, they will be able to complete an internship or apprenticeship, pass military entrance exams, or get an approved ACT or SAT score. Proud to sign this bill.

Advice from @Emmai_Alaquiva “Keep it 💯 with everything you do. People would rather be with someone who’s real than with someone who’s fake and has all the talent. If you’re real, they’re gonna wanna rock with you.”
