I think I know how future generations will look on abortion as a whole, but I'm not certain.
I'm 6-sigma certain that when they read about what we did in 2nd and 3rd trimester, to viable fetuses / babies, they will look on us as worse than slaveholders. And they're right.

"You'll see that the European Union's flagship project, IRIS² (Infrastructure for Resilience, Interconnectivity and Security by Satellite), will very quickly offer a sovereign alternative to Starlink."
Iris2 was announced in 2022 and has not launched a single thing through 2026.
This is what it's like discussing space with people who aren't informed. They think they can just all of a sudden decide to create a SpaceX competitor or Starlink competitor.
They say "see our politicians are talking about iris2 already! SpaceX replacement coming right up!" Not understanding that iris2 has been flailing for 4 years with nothing to show for it. That's why it's easy for me to say they won't have anything meaningful for a decade. It's been 4 years since announcement and they don't even have a single satellite!
You're way over-thinking this.
She's former CIA. That agency does great work, but once you hear them talk in detail about their worldview, and the means they propose using in order to shape events, you understand that they're *different* from everyone else.
Don't elect spooks.
When I say that women lack the concept of an honorable enemy, this is what I’m talking about.
Obviously a lot of the Democrats’ new vindictiveness is Trump derangement, but the Great Feminization is part of the story, too.
Men understand that the other guy is a professional just like me, and we should have an open fight by fair rules and both go home at the end of the day.
For women, conflict isn’t over until the other side is gone and they never have to talk to them again.
Men believe in hierarchy, so a fight is about establishing dominance within the hierarchy and making the other guy subordinate.
Women don’t, everything is egalitarian and consensus-driven, so if you do get conflict, the only possible outcome is total exclusion from the group.
It makes sense that the Democratic Party is abandoning old-fashioned ideas about honorable conflict as it becomes more dominated by women.

“Have you seen the Muslims with their turbans and their djellabas? You can see they are not French. Try to integrate oil and vinegar. Shake the bottle. After a moment they separate again. 20 year HR professional here. Many times I’d make candidates wait a few extra minutes to see how they handled it when they got frustrated. Weeded out a lot of hot heads. Me, I’m looking for patience and understanding.

The Senator from Michigan, who is in President Obama’s party, has advocated an official policy of prosecuting Republican staffers in order to deter anyone from working for the Republican administration.
It is a basic principle of American democracy that the government can’t selectively target individuals simply because of their political beliefs or what they say. But that’s exactly what the Trump Administration is doing to Congresswoman Ilhan Omar of Minnesota.
To understand why this is so appalling, it’s important to know the facts. Congresswoman Omar came to this country with her father when she was 12 years old. Five years later, her father became a naturalized citizen. If Ilhan had been 18 at the time, she would have had to apply for citizenship separately. But because she was 17, she became a naturalized citizen automatically.
Congresswoman Omar went on to graduate from college, work as a community organizer, become the first Somali-American legislator elected to public office in the U.S., and win a seat in Congress. There, she has been one of the Trump Administration’s fiercest critics, which has led the president to repeatedly single her out as someone who he believes does not belong in this country.
Now the Administration is actively trying to deport Congresswoman Omar, seemingly based solely on the unsubstantiated theory that she was actually 18 when her father was naturalized, and therefore is not a citizen. Federal agents have raided her home, confiscated personal records, and seized her phone — all to try and uncover a nonexistent smoking gun from 20 years ago that will somehow make their case.
Think about that. The full weight of the federal government is being brought down on a law-abiding elected official because she has dared to criticize the president. And it’s not the first time this has happened. Under President Trump, the Justice Department has repeatedly gone after those he considers his political enemies — from the Attorney General of New York, to the former head of the FBI, to members of the Federal Reserve.
In those cases, the prosecutions either stalled or were dismissed for having no basis in law, and the same is likely to happen in this case. But not before Congresswoman Omar’s life has been turned upside down, her legal bills have piled up, and she’s been forced to spend time fighting unsubstantiated charges instead of serving the people of Minnesota.
The fact that any president, or any administration, is willing to engage in such transparent efforts to intimidate someone should outrage all Americans, regardless of how they feel about Congresswoman Omar’s political views. Because if this becomes the new normal, there’s no reason to believe it will stop with her — or that future presidents, in either party, won’t do the same.

The Boomers who bought their homes for magic beans and now want to raise taxes on everyone else to pay for their social security while also not wanting to pay property taxes for their palatial estates should all be tossed in a volcano. One last luxury cruise for them.
“I’m old. I’ve paid my home off,” said Ray Warner, a 72-year-old Akron resident. “Why would I pay property tax?”
Across the country, homeowners are asking the same question and revolting against property taxes at a scale not seen in a half century.

She does seem upset, but that’s probably because there’s no one from Cato Institute there to remind her that rebuilding from all this will have significant economic benefits.
