Biden is making the best decision here - I did not see a future for his campaign. The next president will choose justices that are responsible for overturning the horrific decisions on LGBTQ rights and reproductive healthcare or recent years. It’s too important to fumble.

My friend just found out that her baby isn't going to make it. Bc they're past 20 wks pregnant, they have to go out of state for her to receive the treatment that she needs. This was a wanted baby. This is what your pro-life policies are doing, Idaho. #idleg #idpol

BREAKING: Missouri's largest LGBTQ+ advocacy group is circulating a highly unusual warning, advising trans people and their families not to speak with NYT reporter Azeen Ghorayshi for an upcoming NYT podcast on gender-affirming care for youth.

I am saddened to report that South Carolina's governor has signed a gender affirming care ban, forced outing policy, and public funding ban on gender affirming care. This is in violation of a recent 4th Circuit decision, with SC being under their jurisdiction.
🏳️‍⚧️ It's been a wrenching few months for transgender South Carolinians, and we're sending love, solidarity, and support across SC. Today, Gov. McMaster signed #H4624, the Anti-Trans Healthcare Law. It takes effect immediately. bit.ly/3QUv2d2 1/5

Yes. You are trans enough to be transgender. Fuck gatekeepers. Can’t believe I have to say this in 2024. There’s no test or checklist to “earn” being trans. Try on the label, new pronouns, new name. Do whatever the hell you want, no matter how unsure you are. I support you.

1. Last month, I reported that Chaya Raichik of Libs of TikTok was appointed by Ryan Walters to "make schools safer" in Oklahoma. One month later, a trans teen is dead after a year of transphobic bullying. Their name was Nex.

Incredible decision out of the 5th Circuit finding that book bans are likely unconstitutional. This is one of the most right-wing courts n the country. This is a massive blow to those who seek to ban books in many states - over 25 book ban bills have been filed this year.
BREAKING: Unanimous Fifth Circuit panel holds Texas book-ban regime is likely unconstitutional. Judge Willett, a Trump appointee, writes for the court, partially affirming another Trump appointee's district court injunction against the law. Background: lawdork.com/p/trump-appointe…

Today was a hard day. But we will wake up tomorrow and do it all over again. And we won't stop, because we can't - 20 years from now, we will look back on days like today and be proud of the world we made. Trans people have been around forever and will always be.

To see some people look at all of the ways in which trans people are targeted and then blame mass shootings on us is sick. Shootings aren’t new. Trans people aren’t to blame, nor are any other marginalized group. They rather blame the people they hate than their own policies.
