Looking forward to talking about KRWQ's role as the first Korean won stablecoin at Stablecoin Summit in Singapore on October 8th. Singapore 🇸🇬 is one of the most important hubs for offshore trading of the Korean won.
KRWQ launched in October 2025 as the first Korean won stablecoin, and the first non-USD stablecoin listed on EDX, a Citadel-backed crypto exchange.
@NavV96, Co-founder of KRWQ ( @KrwqCash ) and Chief Brain of IQ ( @IQofficial ), will speak at Stablecoin Summit Singapore.

Where are non-USD stablecoins actually gaining adoption, and how do they extend access for restricted and capital-controlled currencies offshore markets can't serve?
How does local regulation shape where they can operate, and what changes when settlement runs stablecoin-to-stablecoin instead of through the dollar?

Wookeun Ken Yoon, who previously served as a Director in Korea’s Financial Services Commission and is currently a Financial Specialist at AMRO, published an analysis on KRWQ and the offshore KRW market, including how KRWQ spot and perpetual markets can connect with the traditional NDF market.
As these markets become more connected, onchain KRW can complement existing FX infrastructure with 24/7 trading and hedging, deeper liquidity and more efficient price discovery, while strengthening KRWQ’s link to the broader won market. Read the full post here: lnkd.in/p/gZNwx5n4

Korea 🇰🇷 exports everything. Why not the won?
Taking KRW global means more demand for the won, more demand for Korean assets, and more capital flowing into Korea.
Our vision for KRWQ goes beyond putting the won onchain. 🇰🇷
We're building global infrastructure for KRW, starting with offshore FX, to drive new demand for the won, Korean government bonds and, eventually, tokenized Korean assets.
More demand for KRW. More efficient FX. More capital into Korea.
That's how KRWQ is good for Korea.
