Hellooo it’s Day 6 of #Blocktober26 ! Today, we’ll get back to the chest wall, but with a different perspective. You’re looking after a 52-year-old woman presenting for left mastectomy with sentinel lymph node biopsy. The surgeon asks if you can “do a block” to improve postop analgesia — she’s happy for you to do whatever you like (and so is the patient). Patient is otherwise healthy and is happy to have a GA as well.
