A few days ago, we had teased the Tix Index asking if the Olodo Uprising was real because data from the report shows that Nigerians are actively attending events under the school & education category.
What we didn’t say was this category emerged as the highest priced category on Tix with an average ticket price of ₦69,906.
Our friends @NativeMag shared their opinion on the rise of anti-intellectualism in Nigeria and what the cost is to Nigerians.
The Tix Index 2026: Per the report, educational events averaged the highest prices in the entire events economy in 2025, indicating a fightback against anti-intellectualism: shorturl.at/yFEQ9
