So I've been blocked by Piers Morgan because I replied to him with this video, which kind of goes against his own narrative about Harry and Meghan

Maradona was the best player in the world between 1986 and 1990. The second best player in the world, in my opinion, was the man below. Barnes could dribble, pass, shoot & header. He was ridiculously double-footed. People nowadays simply don't understand how good he was!

A reminder that Michael Oliver visited UAE before making this decision, accepting a suspicious £20,000 payment to officiate just *one* game. This saga might run a lot deeper than what’s been exposed already.

Maxi Priest - Close To You (1990) Lead single from the British reggae singer's fifth album, Bonafide. Blending pop/R&B styles with a reggae slant, the song was an international hit: Reached #7 in the UK, #2 Australia & topped the US Hot 100. Video directed by Geoffrey Barish.

John Barnes on Ronald Araujo and whether he thinks it will work out: “I do. I think the fact that it may not have worked for him in Barcelona doesn't mean he's not a good player.” “Now, what a manager has to do is look at a player and say that he's not playing because this other team doesn't think he's any good, but the way I want to play, I know that he could play well for me, therefore I'm going to get him. That's what you want your managers to do.” ‌ “A lot of managers just make popular signings because you're playing well at this club. I remember before [Roberto] Firmino came to Liverpool, I don't think Arsenal, Man United or Real Madrid wanted him, nobody wanted [Mohamed] Salah or [Sadio] Mane, but when Klopp made those signings, he knew he could fit them into what he wanted. I think it's a shrewd signing.” (via @LivEchoLFC)

I am absolutely disgusted by @Argos_Online , they hung up on my wife after delivering to the wrong address. Absolutely horrendous customer service, refusing to admit to their error

I just read that Works Cup winner Marc Cucurella doesn't tie his hair up when he plays football because his son is autistic and it's the only way his son recognises him on the pitch. Mad love, big respect 💓

🚨 𝗡𝗘𝗪: Micah Richards learned that his father, Lincoln, had unexpectedly passed away shortly before going live on the BBC for England vs Argentina. Richards still completed the broadcast, saying his father would have wanted “the show to go on”. “He was my greatest fan. He barely missed a game my entire life. He would take me wherever I needed to go as a kid, and he was the proudest parent possible during my professional career. Dad would’ve wanted the show to go on this evening. And so it did. My father Lincoln, my hero and inspiration.”
