Disqualifying. FFS, have any of these people ever bothered to read the Constitution, much less American history?

I believe religious liberty is one of America’s most important principles. I say that as a Christian who believes there is a jurisdictional boundary around the human conscience that no government has the right to cross. I oppose religious coercion whether it comes from Islam, integralism, or Christian nationalism. My concern about Sharia is its enforcement as a system of government. When religious doctrine becomes compulsory civil law—when it determines who enjoys full citizenship, restricts women’s rights, punishes people for leaving their religion, or subordinates nonbelievers—it’s coercive. And incompatible with a constitutional republic committed to religious liberty and equal citizenship. Islamic authority demands subjugation and you cannot dismiss religious domination as an imaginary concern. Calling those demands religious does not place them beyond criticism. Sharia is a political system. As such it’s a threat to religious liberty. And this is the most complicated and challenging piece of how we’re going to go forward as a society in a constitutional republic.

This week, the @FBI and DOJ announced coordinated actions in Ohio and Texas to counter the North Korean IT worker threat. The effort included raids on suspected “laptop farms” and resulted in charges, arrests, and the seizure of nearly 190 devices. Brett Leatherman, Assistant Director of the FBI’s Cyber Division, sat down with CrowdStrike’s Adam Meyers to examine the broader threat behind these actions. They discussed North Korea’s ongoing efforts to infiltrate American companies through remote IT workers and how the FBI and industry are working together to combat the threat. These recent actions, like many of the FBI’s most significant cyber operations, were made possible by intelligence and technical expertise from industry partners. The FBI is strengthening these partnerships to “move upstream” against cyber threat actors. That means going beyond responding to individual incidents to proactively target the command-and-control infrastructure, tools, and criminal ecosystems that enable their activity. ic3.gov/PSA/2026/PSA261013

Americans should not reduce the Islamic threat in America to terrorism. It is a fatal mistake to become concerned about Islam only when there is a terrorist attack. First, Islamic terrorism has been rebranded in America to the point that it is no longer even recognized as Islamic. It is placed in the same category of "terrorism" as drug cartels or the KKK. Then came a second rebranding after October 7, portraying it as "resistance to occupation" or a "response to imperialism." If terrorism is the only aspect of Islam that concerns you, then you will completely miss the broader nature of the Islamic threat in America. The Islamic threat is not primarily about violence. It is about sovereignty, individual liberties, and the gradual weakening of the liberal democratic order that built the West. Wherever Islamic movements gain influence, they seek to impose blasphemy norms under different banners, such as "fighting hate speech," "combating incitement to violence," or "fighting racism." These restrictions, along with the accommodations they demand from the host society, gradually become the norm, while equal application of the law becomes the exception. This, in turn, opens the door for other groups to seek the same special privileges. Self-censorship is another consequence. Laws may remain unchanged on paper, but people begin censoring themselves out of fear or social pressure. Over time, this culture of self-censorship spreads beyond Islam. Like a contagious disease, it expands into other areas of public life. National sovereignty is another concern. As more Muslim politicians who prioritize Islamic causes gain influence, national sovereignty get weakened through foreign policy and national security decisions that advance those causes rather than the interests of the nation they serve. Excellence also suffers. Islam, as a fear-based system, cultivates a mentality that seeks to meet the minimum required rather than striving for the maximum possible. That mindset ultimately weakens innovation, ambition, and excellence within society. These are only a few examples of the much broader challenges that Islam can pose to a liberal democratic society

I am learning that Katie Zacharia is “transitioning” out of her role as Press Secretary.
A source familiar tells me @NewsNation that what President Trump told Katie Zacharia in private is what he said to reporters today. I’m also told Katie and her family are set to have dinner with the Vice President and Second Family tonight.

The main issue with the whole @KatieZacharia and is she a lawyer or attorney or not is that if you can't present yourself honestly and truthfully, how can you speak for the President of the United States to the American people in an Honest and Truthful manner?

Re: Press Secretary Katie Zacharia Failing the California bar exam the first time is normal. Who cares? But this is not the issue. What is not normal is failing the exam and then lying for years about being a lawyer or attorney to get on television. It is illegal in California to present as a lawyer or attorney and especially to practice law without passing the bar. Presenting this way after passing the ethics exam - before failing the bar - makes it worse because an individual would know it is not okay. She did it anyway. Lying to the President of the United States about your resume to land a job is a big deal. The President incorrectly and repeatedly stated she was an attorney because for years she said so. I’d hope more people would be upset about that. The issue is the dishonesty. All of this was preventable. What a shame.

She's absolutely right.
Meloni: I do not miss the Russian tanks in Prague and Budapest. I do not miss the Berlin Wall. If Ukraine stopped defending itself tomorrow, Russia would occupy a European nation and Soviet-style imperialism would return. Surrender is not peace. It is conquest. 1/

If Trump can treat Ukraine’s civilians as expendable when it suits him, why would anyone assume he would not do the same to Americans who get in his way?
We are not operating like the good guys in relation to Ukraine right now.
