I am so excited to have just started as a Regional Organizing Director with @RebeccaforWI campaign!
Folks are fired up to elect Rebecca, who will fight for working families and stand up against corrupt special interests in DC. LET HER COOKE!
And I've already made a friend :)

Last night we packed the Eagles Club in Viroqua! Thanks to Sen. @jontester for joining us. The Driftless is fired up for change this fall.

I am not going to be beholden to big tech companies. My top priority will always be West Central Wisconsin.
That's why I've taken the No Corporate PAC Pledge and support a data center moratorium.

Grateful to have the people's Senator @tammybaldwin in my corner and on the ground in my neck of Wisconsin today. Tammy Baldwin wins tough races because she continues to show up in rural communities and working class spaces.
Today we launched a canvass out of our Eau Claire office to get out the vote with just 68 days to go!

We did it! Thank you to everyone who got out to vote, made calls, knocked doors and supported our campaign. I'm honored that you've placed your trust in me to take on Washington and deliver for working people and retirees here in West Central Wisconsin.
I want to thank my opponent Emily Berge who ran a tremendous grassroots campaign across 19 counties and worked to build relationships with voters of all political stripes towards a common goal of restoring sensible leadership to #WI03 and defeating Derrick Van Orden.
The next 83 days, that is our common goal. Whether you voted for Van Orden in the past, went with Berge in the primary – our tent is big. Our tent is squarely focused on lowering costs, combatting corruption, supporting small business, bolstering agriculture and building an American Dream we can actually grasp.
Look, I don’t want to just know about the issues keeping you up at night, I also want to know about the things that are getting you out of bed in the morning. What are we working for? What is giving you hope? Those hopes are what the next 83 days are for, and I need you with me. Visit CookeforWisconsin.com to join us.

Congratulations to Rebecca Cooke on winning her House primary in Wisconsin.
A daughter of farmers, a waitress and small business owner, she knows the failures of Washington firsthand.
We need more working-class fighters like Rebecca in Congress.

People need to feel it in their pocketbooks and in their bones that when they vote for Democrats, their lives are better.
We need to listen to the people in our communities, and we need to deliver real results.

Touched grass. Pounded pavement. One more day.
Then we unite to defeat Derrick Van Orden in 85 days.
Let her Cooke! 🇺🇸💙

I'm proud of the support I have from organized labor in this race. Local unions know that I've got their back as I have on picket lines during contract negotiations, supporting the integrity of registered apprenticeship programs, and fighting for better wages and safe workplaces. In Congress I'll work to pass the PRO Act to undo the work that Scott Walker and his cronies did with Act 10.
Shoutout to Marina who is a friend and will soon be one of my town council members :)
Over the past ten years, the housing movement has grown from a small number of people into a national collective pushing change across the country: Maryland, Arizona, Cambridge, California, and now the halls of Congress.
On August 4, the people behind those wins are coming together on one call to talk about how far we've come, why it matters for voters in this affordability era, and what comes next!
Can't wait to see y'all!

Voter fraud remains exceedingly rare in NJ and everywhere else. My thoughts on today’s news ➡️

So many College Dems do really great work. The Convention having letting Hasan Piker speak is a terrible decision. He is totally reprehensible and has nothing constructive to add to Democratic Party discourse. He should not have been platformed, humored, or given the time of day.

A man with NO criminal history was shot and killed by ICE.
As far as I'm concerned, Trump's DHS Secretary should get hauled in front of Congress to answer for every shooting.
We need a Congressional majority that will push for real answers and accountability. This cannot stand.
After hearing his father's cries for help in a Facebook video, a Houston man learned that Lorenzo Salgado Araujo had been killed during an ICE operation. houstonchronicle.com/news/ho…

Lorenzo Salgado Araujo was a husband and father who spent the past 35 years working in Houston.
On Tuesday, an ICE agent in an unmarked vehicle shot and killed him while he was on his way to work.
His family deserves justice, accountability, and an independent investigation.

Families have lost their cars, homes, and even their lives due to severe flooding across NJ. We can’t continue to ignore the climate crisis.
That means more clean energy, building flood preventative infrastructure, and holding accountable the polluters causing climate change.
