Cue that video of Lindsey Graham saying if the Republican Party embraced Donald Trump it would destroy itself

I wrote a horror short story recently called Toys Are Us that a bunch of my friends really like. They asked me what I’m going to do with it. I’m replied, I have no idea. What does one do with a horror short story?

My mom died a year ago today. I was hoping my short film Mother would be ready to premiere today, but alas it’s still in editing. Should be ready in two weeks. Love you mom

Meanwhile in LA… The frustrating part is the overall vibe here is that it’s too late, LA production is doomed forever. No it’s not! Just make it worthwhile to shoot here. Starts from the leadership prioritizing production here

I was in downtown Culver City last night and it was incredible. People everywhere. The Culver Theater super busy. It’s changed so much for the better since I moved to LA

I’ve never seen the Third Street Promenade in Santa Monica look worse than it does now. The vacancy rate is insane. Just a shell of what it used to be

I saw a @TheAcademy screening of I Play Rocky last night followed by an interview with the cast and crew. Loved the movie. Lots of heart. Highly recommend

A successful writer friend challenged me to write some horror short stories. Finished the first one. It’s a 27 page story called Toys Are Us. @terrycrews would be perfect for the main supporting character if this got made into a feature

Back when I first wrote my novel Journey of Self: Six Months in the Japanese Countryside, I used to get messages and emails from people (usually men) who read my book saying it helped them get through a tough period in their life. Got one of those messages yesterday

Hollywood talent agencies CAA, UTA and WME have teamed up to create the American Entertainment Alliance. The organization wants U.S. legislation to force streamers like Netflix, Prime Video, HBO Max and Disney+ to spend at least 50% of their budgets on independent productions. variety.com/2026/tv/news/caa…

With a great group of people at @screamfest a few nights ago to watch our friend Jeremy Weiss’s premiere of his film Night Driver starring Josh Lucas, Alyssa Milano and David Arquette. The ringleader of our brigade, Friday the 13th director Sean Cunningham, in the center

Finally got down to the beach this year on probably the last really hot day in LA and took a long swim in the ocean. The water is much warmer than usual due to El Niño. A dolphin swam nearby and a fish jumped high out of the water a few feet away. Peak living right there
