THE CONVICTION: On 15.10.2026, the Hon’ble NDPS Court, Barabanki, Uttar Pradesh, convicted Omkar under Sections 8/21 of the NDPS Act, 1985, and sentenced him to 10 years’ Rigorous Imprisonment along with a fine of ₹1 Lakh. 2. THE SEIZURE: On 06.12.2019, the Central Bureau of Narcotics (CBN) apprehended the suspects near Nevli village on the Barabanki–Haidergarh Road, Uttar Pradesh, and recovered 0.650 kg of Morphine from his possession. 3. THE CASE: The case was registered as Case Crime No. 01/2019 under Sections 8/21 of the NDPS Act, 1985. 4.
