You can't be a well-informed, discerning observer f US politics and maintain that the party of Chuck Schumer and Hakeem Jeffries is on the slippery slope to pogroms.
You can't live in reality and think that AOC has it in for Jews.
There's been a real shift at the Dem median but it's a shift favoring stronger condemnations of Israeli war crimes and settler expansion, and exerting real leverage on Netanyahu's government, rather than giving them the de facto blank check Biden did.
If *that's* your idea of an antisemitic takeover you're so far from reality you should seek treatment.

I think we need to reckon with the fact that centrists are a destructive force in the Democratic party and clearly prefer Democrats to lose to Republicans than progressives to win. Just very divisive and selfish people who hurt the party more than help it.
As Democrats, we constantly criticize the far-right for their incendiary and discriminatory politics, but we need to hold ourselves to the same standard. Hasan Piker’s rhetoric is polarizing and dangerous, and embracing him as a party is a mistake. I am disappointed that Minnesota DFLers are hosting an event with him here.

In Maine, Michigan and Minnesota we are watching the Democratic Establishment’s hand picked candidates lose and then either actively or passively undermine the party and or their nominee. This is an abject failure by the Democratic leadership.

UPDATE: I’m glad the DSA listened and responded to my call to condemn these threats and directly refute responsibility. We need to see this more quickly, clearly, and often from the DSA. Extremism cannot be encouraged, tolerated, or even ignored, especially when public servants and their staff are targeted.

Today, I received a threatening letter at my Grand Rapids, Michigan office that contained unidentified white powder. The letter, which claimed to be from the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA), made a direct and specific reference to an impending “civil war” beginning after the election. The letter sent to my office is similar to those received at other congressional offices across the country. The DSA has not yet addressed the attacks, either to condemn them or to take or deny responsibility. The Grand Rapids Police Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) responded immediately.
Threats and extremism are not signs of strength—they are signs of a weak mind and weak character. Political intimidation has no place in our democracy, and leaders must condemn it, not excuse it. I’ll keep standing up to bullies on the right and the left.

Haley Stevens was a bad fundraiser, which is why she had to rely so much on outside spending from groups like AIPAC (who probably wouldn't have spent in the GE if she was the nominee).
In the pre-primary FEC filing (July 15), El-Sayed had outraised Stevens $14.5M to $9.9M for the cycle. (They announced their candidacies the same week in April 2025).
And that's including donations from corporate PACs for Stevens (El-Sayed didn't accept any).
So with respect to Stevens, no, it's not really an interesting question.
