📢 NOW SOLVED: Update on complexity issue with Ledger devices affecting Bitcoin claims.
Glacier Drop participants can now claim for all eligible Bitcoin addresses managed by the same Ledger wallet.
Previously, when trying to make a claim based on multiple eligible Bitcoin addresses controlled by the same Ledger-managed wallet, the portal would only recognize the first used address, and only for the first Bitcoin account.
For multiple eligible Bitcoin addresses connected to a Ledger device, an individual claim must be made for each address.
Check your eligibility at: claim.midnight.gd
We're aware of a complexity issue affecting Bitcoin claims with Ledger devices. Some Bitcoin accounts, which have multiple addresses, may incorrectly result in an error message that no eligible addresses were found or not all eligible addresses are recognized.
Our development team is actively working to address this. We want to reassure you that your allocations are safe and not impacted by this issue. We will provide an update as soon as we have more information.
We appreciate your patience and participation and we’ll continue to keep you updated as we work to resolve this issue.

📢 Lace v1.26.1 is live!
We've improved support for signing larger message payloads, enhancing compatibility with hardware wallets during the Midnight Glacier Drop claim process.
✅ If you previously hit a wall while claiming with your Ledger, give it another shot.
⚠️ Device compatibility may vary depending on your claim size. For updates, follow @midnightfdn

🚨 Nami Migration Update 🚨
We’re excited to announce that a new release (Lace 1.18.3) will be rolling out tomorrow to further enhance the Nami migration process!
As a reminder, starting January 29th (Plomin Hard-Fork), Nami will only function as a migration tool and will no longer operate as a standalone wallet.
If you love Nami, don’t worry—you can continue using Nami Mode in Lace after the 29th! It offers the same familiar Nami experience, now supported by Lace.

We’re aware of some users seeing “Invalid collateral used” when interacting with some DApps, and are investigating. 💪

Following @iohk_charles tweet from this morning, as a precautionary measure, we have temporarily disabled the adahandles function in the Nami wallet.
Our team is working diligently to implement a permanent fix that we expect to issue soon. Thank you all for your patience!
I'm just coming up to speed on Nami. We've put together a weekend team to investigate an issue involving Nami's implementation of ADAHandles.
The one issue that has been identified is a delay in fetching ADAHandles whereby if users are typing in handles, i.e. "$NFT" and then "$NFTs", there is a delay in updating the destination from $NFT to $NFTs.
The team is disabling ADAhandles within Nami as an immediate backstop to prevent this from occurring until we fully develop and test a solution. The disabling code has been written and pushed to Google and we are waiting on their approval, which usually takes 1-2 hours.
Lace users are unaffected. Nami users take a break for a few hours while the team finishes the initial investigation of the acquired code and temporarily disables the impacted features.
I understand how frustrating these issues can be to those impacted. It's one of the reasons we bought Nami so that we could migrate the great experience to a codebase that is maintained using IOG's engineering standards. Unfortunately, this migration takes time and bugs like these could be lurking in the acquired codebase.
If you think you've been impacted, X isn't the medium to broadcast it. When we finish the initial investigation, we'll include a form that you can fill out so we can examine each incident on a case by case basis. So far, this seems to have only impacted a few users.
Here's a picture of Totoro to lighten the mood.
As we shared previously, as a precautionary measure, we disabled the ADAHandles feature in Nami. Since then, our team has been developing a fix to address the issue and improve the ADAHandles & Milkomeda integration.
