Your exact-match .com is the name they type in every class.
Everything else just became a commodity.
Brand = Domain Name = The Last Moat
.si feels a lot like .xyz did in its early days. People are registering names fast, while others keep criticizing the extension. I wouldn't be surprised if notable .si sales get called fake too.
FOMO might make me register one or two as well. 😄
Keywords get their value from public usage, not technical accuracy. Even after SI arrives, most people will still call it AI. That’s why AI will remain the dominant keyword.

My son, 9 years old.
It was 9 PM. After a crazy day, I put on my running shoes and got ready to go for a run.
He looked at me and said:
“Dad, can I come with you? Please, Dad. I want to run.”
That moment reminded me of something very important:
Children don't learn from what you tell them. They learn from what they see you do.
Be the example you want your children to follow.
You don't need to give them endless speeches about discipline, hard work, or resilience.
Let them see you do it.
Let them see you get up when you're tired.
Let them see you work when nobody is watching.
Let them see you choose the difficult path when comfort would be easier.
The world is becoming increasingly comfortable.
But comfort, when you live in it for too long, becomes a cage.
Get out of your comfort zone.
Do the things most people don't want to do.
Do the things most people aren't willing to do.
Build when others quit.
Keep going when nobody is watching.
Not because you need to be better than 99% of people.
But because you need to become better than the person you were yesterday.
And maybe that's one of the deepest responsibilities of being a parent:
Your children are not only listening to your words. They are studying your life.
One day, they will face their own difficult moments.
And maybe they won't remember the advice you gave them.
But they might remember the example.
They might remember their father putting on his running shoes after a long, exhausting day.
And when life tells them, “It's too hard. Stay comfortable. Give up.”
Maybe something inside them will answer:
“My father didn't.”
And they will keep going.
Because in the end, our greatest legacy isn't what we leave for our children.
It's what we leave inside them.

Get a job.
That’s what I’ve been telling everyone who says they’re going full-time domainer.
You’re not making enough? Get a job.
You think you’ll “make it” eventually? Get a job.
Because trust me, time flies. ⏳
You’ll blink, a few years will be gone, and you’ll look back and say:
“Shit… what have I done?”
Domaining can be a side hustle while you build.
But don’t let it become an excuse to waste years waiting for something that may never happen.
Get a job.
Entrepreneurship is a mental game. You need extreme resilience and optimism.
I know it because I spent 5 years in the wrong state.
Entitled to my hard work.
Envious of others' success.
Emotional when things don't go as planned.
So I quit in 2021 and got a real job.
I can't explain why, but it restructured me.
In 2022, I didn't come back stronger, but with a completely different mindset that enabled my current journey.
The same thing is happening right now to @dagorenouf. After his 9-5 at CompAI, he's back different.
I root for everyone working on their entrepreneurship journey, especially you, Tiago. Sometimes I think it's better to have a break than to push harder. It worked for me.

Still a while away, but as you plan for available domain funds remember that wholesale .com prices are increasing by 7% on November 1, 2026, at 04:00 UTC. Renewing in advance strong names usually makes statistical sense.

You have to get uncomfortable to get comfortable.
I was reminded of this while hiking the mountains with my youngest daughter this summer.
Halfway up: “I NEVER want to go hiking again.”
Back at the pool that afternoon: “Hiking was the BEST part of the day!”
Funny how that works.
Getting sober was hell. Now I get a natural high every day.
While my friends were partying, I spent nights and weekends hunting for domain names and poored every spare dollar into building my portfolio. Now that portfolio buys me freedom while most of my friends of that time are lockd into corporate life.
The struggle comes first.
The rewardd almost always comes later.
Get uncomfortable.
