Twenty-five years ago, nearly three thousand people were murdered at the World Trade Center — and the world stood up. On October 7th 2023, Islamists from Hamas murdered around twelve hundred people in Israel — men, women, children — and raped, tortured, and burned families alive. In Israel, the world responded with anti-Semitism. In Iran, the world answers with silence. This is a joke. A bad one. This year, nationwide protests against the Islamic Republic were drowned in blood: nearly thirty thousand killed, plus about a thousand executed by the death penalty. Islamists don’t want to live and let live. They want to rule, to silence, to punish anyone who doesn’t submit. This is a pattern from New York to the Islamic regime of Iran: dissent is treason, women are property, and freedom is a threat to be crushed. They’ve killed thirty thousand peaceful demonstrators in 2 days. They hang people for the moral crime of homosexuality. They stone women for showing their hair. And some in the West still call this ‘resistance’ or ‘culture.’ Why is the West so quiet? Why can’t we say something against Islamists? This is unbelievable. And to be absolutely clear: this is not about all Muslims. The vast majority of Muslims are not Islamists. Most Muslims are victims of these regimes too. Criticizing Islamism is not Islamophobia — it’s standing with the people those regimes oppress. It’s not culture. It’s a political ideology that uses religion as a weapon. Islamism has to be opposed — clearly, openly, without apology. Never forget. Never stay silent.
