First #honey harvest of the year... It will be a couple of weeks before this is in jars and labelled up, though, so watch this space...
It's #NationalBeeDay ... Here is our latest #colony, a #swarm from elsewhere, moving into a stack of unused equipment in our garden. Unused no more! Good choice, #bees 😄👍🐝🍯🐝 We may have some #honey from this colony later in the summer...

Some good news... "extinct" #bee found! kentonline.co.uk/gravesend/n… It's a "solitary" mining bee, but a small population has been found in Kent, where it was last seen over 85 years ago...
