How was my Friday at work? Well, I practised doing this. As tourism starts up again, isn’t it good to know that those who are going to come rescuing if something goes wrong, have practised? @BarentsWatch is important part of every rescuing operation in 🇳🇴

Norway’s ambition to lift @ArcticCouncil led to the establishment of #secretariat in #Tromso & coincided with increased global attention towards #Arctic. Result: Political capital & more robust foundation for cooperation, says @NVaaja at #ArcticCouncil 25th anniversary reception.
The vastness of #Arctic and importance of international cooperation were some of key messages in an expert panel I had the pleasure of moderating for early-career @NorwayMFA diplomats today. Thank you @kystvakten for hosting us!
