No lamps. No lights. The only thing illuminating this forest is the glow of the moon and whatever source Alex brings along with him. If any at all.
Quiet. Crickets. Rustling of leaves and grass.
@ThePanicProxy .
Something goes into the garbage cans at night. Rummages around. Searches.
Hungers.
@TimTamWright .
It wants him. For whatever reason, they don’t know. But It is wants Tim Wright.

The night air fills with the smell of copper. They’ve caught something, and now they eat.
It doesn’t occur to them someone could stumble by. Not yet.
Good boy.
It leaps at him, body unnaturally thin. Unnaturally long. Unnaturally fast. White enough to shine pearlescent in the moonlight above. To blind anyone close enough. The tag on their ear sways in the wind. #6.

Just a branch. Swaying violently to the glass.
he’s only running away if he’s getting further from the howling. The shrieking. The grinding of teeth and torn vocal cords.
It’s nothing but anger. Loneliness. Sadness.
