The price of the land is not the only money you'll spend. The nature of the soil can significantly affect your construction cost, especially the foundation. Two people can buy land at similar prices, but one may spend more during construction even when they're building the same structure because of the soil condition of the location. Sometimes, paying a little more for a good, suitable piece of land can save you a lot more during construction.

Things some people used to be ashamed of, some are now displaying it proudly. Single motherhood, teenage pregnancies, coming out to proudly claim dating a married man etc. Our great grand parents will be turning in their graves....if there is anything like that. Times have really changed from yesterday. I embrace some change though, but some, I don't.
Times are really changing, people usually hide teenage pregnancies, but now they are on social media doing get ready with me.

🎬 THE HAUNTING (1999)🍿 A visually stunning haunted house movie with an impressive gothic atmosphere. The Haunting delivers elaborate production design, eerie surroundings, and a strong sense of mystery. The cast, including Liam Neeson, Catherine Zeta Jones, Owen Wilson, and Lili Taylor, brings plenty of star power, but the story sometimes leans too heavily on predictable scares and CGI. Still, if you enjoy supernatural horror with a dark, gothic aesthetic, this one is worth a watch. Rating: 6.5/10 Beautifully creepy… but not truly terrifying. 👀

Men saying they prefer women in cornrows over wigs is one of those things I hear and just smile because I honestly think it’s a lie. Some women look way finer and more beautiful in a really good wig than in all those cornrows. Unless you don’t really like the woman, then you can keep telling her she looks better in cornrows.

How am I supposed to believe in love when another person’s partner won’t stop texting me?

Pressure is often a tactic, not a deadline. I’ve learned that when someone is rushing me to make a decision, I’d rather pause than let their urgency become my mistake. If you’re not being given enough time to think, ask questions, or consider the consequences, that’s usually a reason to slow down. Not everything urgent is actually important. Sometimes the smartest move is simply to say: “I need time to think about it.” And if they can’t respect that, walk away.
Family deserves grace, but #boundaries still matter. You can love your family, forgive their mistakes and still be honest about what you will and won’t accept. Being related doesn’t mean someone gets unlimited access to hurt, disrespect, or take advantage of you. Blood creates a bond, but it doesn’t cancel accountability.

The most dangerous phrase in any failing relationship isn’t ‘I don’t love you.’ It’s ‘this is just how things are now,’ said by two people who stopped trying and called it maturity

We teach kids to share everything and then grow into adults who get offended when someone asks to split the bill. Generosity apparently has an expiration date around adulthood.
