With football season starting and being happily retired now, there are still a few emotions that sneak up on me when a new season rolls around. A lot of people talk about missing the plane rides, the locker rooms, the travel, etc. And yeah, those things are cool. But what I really miss is the feeling of walking out of the tunnel at Arrowhead and getting booed by 70,000 people. Standing there at the start of a new game while the place is absolutely rocking, about to kick off. Hitting a field goal that completely shuts the place up. The feeling of absolutely flushing a punt when you’re backed up and flipping the field. And lastly, walking into the locker room after you and the boys just won a huge game. There aren’t many feelings like it. So if you’re a guy who still has the chance to experience any of those moments, I’m jealous of you. And if you’re a college football player, enjoy the pressure. Embrace the pressure. Because one day, you might miss it more than you ever thought you would. Never peak. Enjoy the journey. #TLK #BeAPro #fyp
