Great feature written by @jonlees
Not many sports folk can make the crossover into the national news pages. But this lad is a phenomenon who could dominate for years to come and racing, despite all its troubles, should be shouting loudly about @loughnane_billy

How did our American Friend Andy J get on with racing the BriSCA F1 Stock Car on Sunday? He’s not bad for a Yank! And he will return.
Skegness Raceway, bring you the best drivers from around the raceway to race at Skeg Vegas Baby!
So pleased for @RickyCollard - another typically entertaining drive!
The British Touring Car Championship is saddened to learn of the passing of Scott Dennis, the former Motorsport Manager of SEAT UK.
Scott played a pivotal role in bringing the Spanish marque into the BTCC in 2004, overseeing a hugely successful five-year programme that quickly established SEAT as one of the championship’s leading manufacturers. With drivers including Jason Plato, Rob Huff, James Thompson and Darren Turner, SEAT Sport UK claimed numerous race victories, the Manufacturers’ Championship in 2006 and the Teams’ title in 2007.
Scott’s enthusiasm, professionalism and unmistakable passion for motorsport made him a popular and respected figure throughout the paddock.
The thoughts and sincere condolences of everyone connected with the BTCC are with Scott’s family, friends and former colleagues at this very sad time.

Aiden Moffat's penalty for track-limit infringements has been rescinded after it was established that he had to take evasive action to avoid a backmarker ahead whose car had temporarily lost power. The penalty has therefore been cancelled, and Aiden Moffat is confirmed as the winner of Round 25 of the Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship at Silverstone.
The BriSCA F1 World Final has had the weather gods on its side for many years. Talking with Adrian Blackwell last night, we were trying to work out the last WF to be run in the rain. Ipswich on 2022 was wet beforehand but not during the race. Same in 1976. Anyone know? @BSDCA
It may not have ended the way he wanted, but the walk of a six-time champion prior to the World Final parade, with his noble steed following obediently behind.

Well-deserved celebrations for Mark Veenstra & his team last night. 2nd in the World Final & looked a major threat despite plenty of damage to his car following the 1st-bend pile-up. Then an impressive win in the Harry Smith Trophy Final. Top lad, too. Future WF winner? #BriSCAF1
Delighted to get a decent slot in today's @DailyMirror for tonight's @BSCDAF1 @YorStox promoted BriSCA F1 World Final.
Pleased to get Brooke some well-deserved publicity prior to the @YorStox promoted BriSCA F1 World Final at Northampton Shaleway @BSCDAF1
