A big thanks to @ClevelandPolice, @DurhamPolice, @Cumbriapolice, @Humberbeat, @NYorksPolice, @syptweet, @WestYorksPolice & @LancsPolice who've joined us in this nine-pronged crackdown. This should send a clear message to offenders - rural crime will not be tolerated. ❌ (3/4)

The move will hand police & the courts greater powers to combat & prosecute serial cross-border criminals who repeatedly target rural victims. 🚓 This is a significant move that will help us combat rural crime not only in Northumbria but across the North of England. (2/4)

9️⃣ police forces have joined together in one of the biggest rural crime crackdowns of its kind in the UK. 🚜🙌 We've teamed up with Forces across the North of England in a joint strike against cross-border poachers, with us all working as one to prosecute rural offenders. (1/4)
