“ i tried the transponder snail but i got no answer. ” closing his eyes for a second. “ i miss you too, my lily, everyday that passes. ”

“ you’re the one worrying me, andromeda… i don’t have any news for a moment and you’re suddenly back… ” speaking softly, he leans his cheek against her hand.

“ just sleep issues, nothing new. ” another smile, she shouldn’t worry that much about him. taking the bottle left on the table, the yonko silently offers a drink. “ what’s the matter, meds ? you rarely do nightcalls these days. ”

coming into her view, the yonko smiles, slight bags under his eyes, and messy hair. he’s sitting on the chair next to her, head tilting slightly. “ good evening, meda. ”

only a couple of minutes pass and there’s footsteps echoing behind her. “ look who the sea dragged in… ”

the ship seems awfully quiet in the dark of the night. a few lights still on are pointing a way towards the living quarters.
