true. oscar definitely should’ve been prioritized after zandvoort and it would’ve saved mclaren a lot of headaches no monza swap no singapore hit no qatar fumble to protect norris from a double stack oscar would’ve driven knowing the team really does have his back (they don’t)

but i think he knows this and still chooses to express himself this way. he stays true to himself even when people question his intentions, judge his actions or pick apart his words. i think there is something admirable about being willing to remain that open even when it comes at a cost.
