Well done!
If your town hasn't already done this, we encourage you to start the ball rolling on getting them to rebate the Permit to Carry fees.
25 other towns have, and @NJFOSyndicate has a policy brief to help you get started.

Is New Jersey STILL Behind Enemy Lines?
Can we now buy STANDARD Capacity Magazines?
How about Non-Neutered Rifles with?
In this Episode of the Behind Enemy Lines Show, I sit down with Joe LoPorto (@JoeLoPorto) of the NRA (@NRA) and New Jersey Firearm Owner's Syndicate (@NJFOSyndicate) to discuss the MASSIVE 3rd Circuit Ruling that the New Jersey Assault Weapons Ban AND the Magazine Capacity Limit as UNCONSTITUTIONAL.
What a Time to be alive. 🇺🇸

Last week's ruling overturning New Jersey's ban on AR-15-style rifles was met with the predictable fear-mongering in a parade of statements from Democrat leadership. @SenPresScutari today wrote that no civilian should have "weapons of war."
What war, exactly?
The U.S. military doesn't carry civilian AR-15s. They carry M4s and M16s. Calling an AR-15 a "weapon of war" is a political slogan, not a technical description. The AR-15 platform is widely recognized as a Modern Sporting Rifle (MSR) by the National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF) and is used by sportsmen & millions of Americans for home defense.
As someone who has experienced violent crime firsthand, I take this issue personally. I'm not only a mother of three, but also the victim of an armed robbery.
This undoubtedly informs my opinion on this issue.
As such, I was trained to shoot a pistol by an @NRA instructor and am a law-abiding gun owner, including an ArmaLite Rifle (not an "Assault Rifle.")
And as we read the string of released statements, remember that @GovSherrillNJ enjoys armed police protection. Also noteworthy is that this is the same Democrat-controlled Legislature that spent years making it damn near impossible for law-abiding citizens to protect themselves pre-Bruen decision. Under @GovMurphy, a @GovChristie-administration policy recognizing "serious threats" under New Jersey's already restrictive "justifiable need" standard for a concealed carry permit was rescinded, making it next to impossible to obtain one.
And former Attorney General Grewal went even further, stating: "New Jersey's law should be clear – private citizens should not be able to carry weapons based on mere generalized fear." I'm sorry, what? The Constitution of the United States would like a word with you, Sir.
Need an example of how New Jersey's myopic policies have put women in danger? We could ask Carol Bowne.
Except we can't.
Carol Bowne obtained a restraining order, repeatedly pleaded for help, and applied for a handgun permit. NJ law required that her application be approved or denied within 30 days. Forty-two days after applying, Bowne was slaughtered in her own driveway before she was ever issued her New Jersey permission slip. This is the tragic result when we have a state government packed with Dems who "know better".
A piece of paper doesn't save you. Neither does a politician who throws up roadblocks between you and your Constitutional right to protect yourself. Pre-Bruen, that's EXACTLY where we were in NJ.
Violent criminals and criminal aliens who use illegally-obtained firearms don't belong on the streets of New Jersey or in our country. As such, I will continue to exercise my Constitutionally-protected rights, be it to hunt, shoot sporting clays, or for self-protection.
We ARE NOT going backwards.

The Koons court, that is, the Third Circuit (en banc), just put out an order for each party to submit their supplemental briefs in light of both Wolford and Hemani. Wolford, as we all know, was ruled on yesterday by SCOTUS.
For those who don't know, Koons is our "sensitive places" case here in NJ.
In the order, the briefs, aside from limiting them to 2,500 words, are due no later than July 8, and they make clear they will not be granting extensions of time absent truly exceptional circumstances.
This is purely speculation and zero legal expertise on our part, but this seems to indicate that they may well have been waiting on a ruling in Wolford, and given that they will not grant extensions of time, are perhaps ready to get this show on the road.
Do with this information what you will, but that's our take.
It should be noted that just before this order was published, a letter was submitted by the attorneys from our side regarding Hemani, but not Wolford.

Just in time for our case to head to summary judgement motions next month!
🚨BREAKING: 5th Circuit rules that suppressors ARE protected arms!
That means no state in the fifth circuit can ban suppressors, and we're one step closer to the Supreme Court holding the same!

Today, NJFOS, along with SAF, has amended our complaint against the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office. Mr. Aliaj was stripped of his rights simply for cohabiting with someone who was wrongfully rendered a prohibited person, which itself was an abuse of authority. After filing our case, a clear pattern of abuse emerged, and after several additional plaintiffs came forward, we took the necessary step to amend our lawsuit to include these additional plaintiffs.
"The fact pattern surrounding the clear abuse of authority by the Bergen County Prosecutor in completely restricting Mr. Aliaj's rights warranted the filing of our initial complaint. In response, numerous additional plaintiffs came forward," said Joe LoPorto, director of legal operations at NJFOS. "These additional plaintiffs make clear that the bully tactics employed by the BCPO are not a one-off, but evidence of a pattern and practice that proves our need for the broad injunctive relief demanded in our complaint. These policies and practices are completely unmoored in either state law or any legal framework consistent with the Second Amendment."

Great argument on why registries and compelling the production of public records on individual firearm owners defeats the very purpose of the Second Amendment as a check on tyranny.

New Jersey’s Attorney General is now subpoenaing FFLs statewide, demanding records on every lawful sale of @GLOCKInc pistols to New Jersey residents over the last decade.
This is an effort to harass and doxx law-abiding gun owners who purchased America’s most popular pistol.
Because New Jersey’s pistol permitting system operates as a de facto registry, the Attorney General can simply produce those records from its own database. This subpoena would make these transactions a matter of public record. nraila.org/articles/20260516…

1) It's not illegal to carry a firearm at a doctor's office.
2) Courthouses provide armed security with mandatory screening to ensure disarmed citizens are safe.
I see you all continue to have a tenuous grasp on 2A policy.
Keep blindly cashing your Bloomberg bucks, though.
Victoria Sullivan says your Second Amendment rights shouldn't depend on "who lays claim to the soil under your feet." By that logic, you should be able to bring a gun to the doctor's office. To the courthouse. Anywhere. #NHPolitics
The US House just passed the NICS Data Reporting Act on a bipartisan voice vote.
This bill would require reporting on NICS denials on the basis of race, ethnicity and gender.
NJ Assembly Bill A.222, sponsored by @DawnFantasia_NJ and @Robert_Auth would force NJ to report on NJ firearms license denials on the same basis.
Capitol Hill is more divided than ever but at least there is bipartisan consensus to not ignore discrimination regarding a core constitutional right.

Bill A222: njleg.state.nj.us/bill-searc…
Inconsistency at best, bias at worst. The color of your skin is NOT a valid reason for denial of a permit to carry.
Subjective standards are driving denials in NJ and the data shows those decisions are hitting minority applicants the hardest.
This is not new. The complete data must be shared in a timely manner, and the @NewJerseyOAG bears the responsibility to ensure this.

We’ve been hearing it again and again from constituents: update the Permit to Carry Dashboard.
So today I asked the Attorney General to do just that.
The data we do have raises serious concerns about potential racial disparities in permit denials. That’s why we should have a full airing of all available data.
Thanks to my colleagues Asw. Dawn Fantasia and Asm. Robert Auth for leading on A222 to require regular public reporting.
