Sheldon Keefe when asked about the plan with Remi Poirier: "From our approach, it’s a two-goalie system here. Our focus, obviously, has been on getting Dawsy up and running and feeling good. The question you ask, it’s really an organizational discussion and decision. It’s not a coaching decision. If or when we make a switch and get Poirier involved more, that’ll come from Sunny and how we want to do it. But it’s been very obvious all summer long, all summer and camp and all this, to get Dawsy and Allen up and running, get them feeling good and give them a chance at success. That’s been the focus. I don’t think there’s a goalie in the world who would tell you that a three-goalie system is healthy mentally, to stay focused and feel trusted and all of that kind of stuff. The plan remains the same. We’ll make adjustments if we feel the need. Poirier, at this point, is nice insurance for us in terms of our depth. He’s been handling it tremendously. How it proceeds will be more of an organizational decision than it will be mine, but the priority remains on Dawsy and Jake." #NJDevils
