Human trafficking takes many forms and knows no borders. From sexual exploitation and labour trafficking to forced criminality and domestic servitude, combating it requires a united effort.
Peel Regional Police is proud to launch a new Anti-Human Trafficking Strategy focused on preventing exploitation, supporting survivors, and holding offenders accountable.
Together with community partners, we’re strengthening victim support, enhancing investigations, disrupting trafficking networks, and addressing service gaps for survivors.
Today’s conference brings partners together to share knowledge, strengthen collaboration, and advance our collective response to human trafficking. Human trafficking knows no borders, and neither should our response.

That’s why the message matters:
“Most importantly, the message with online safety should not be, ‘You should never do that.’ Instead, it should be, ‘If something happens, you can come to me.’”
