Love the show, and great take, @CoachNeuheisel. Student-athletes deserve a seat at the table through collective bargaining, just as players have in the major professional sports leagues. And if college football ever creates a commissioner position, I nominate you!

Thank you, Steven. Ted Cruz might be the least athletic, and smarmiest guy in the Senate, yet he’s leading the effort to tell college athletes what they can earn. For someone who talks so much about the free market, it’s so hypocritical. Let the athletes have a seat at the table!
Remember: Ted Cruz never spoke a word about a “crisis“ in college sports when Texas A&M paid Jimbo Fisher over $70 million to do nothing.
That amount could’ve paid for the entire NIL of Ohio State’s ’24 title roster THREE times.

So sad for these two Ole Miss students & their families. They should be celebrating a great win, not mourning two young lives. Kratom was found in both investigations. Products like this are sold at gas stations & often presented as a “safe alternative.”
