I鈥檓 a bit late posting this, but I successfully defended my PhD last month! So grateful towards my time at the University of Delaware, the people I met, and all the interesting things I studied along the way!

Darrin Pochan, Chair and Professor of Materials Science & Engineering at the University of Delaware, has been elected to the 2022 Class of the AIMBE College of Fellows! This year, the American Institute for Medical & Biological Engineering elected 153 new members to the College of Fellows in recognition of their distinguished and continuing achievements in medical and biological engineering.

CHARM grad researcher Nicole Halaszynski is in the Chris Kloxin Lab working with the Peptide Active Materials Group. She is enhancing biological materials by incorporating synthetic entities onto them, making new hybrid materials with specific functionalities. For fun, Nicole loves to hike鈥攁nything that just gets her outside in nature!
