A pharmacist has been jailed for six years for his role in a £1.3m NHS prescription fraud.
Jignesh Patel, 46, of 11 Princes Park Manor, Royal Drive, London N11, was sentenced at Southwark Crown Court today (16 October 2026).

Fariba Shameli, 55, was sentenced to three years' imprisonment after fraudulently claiming more than £92k from the NHS for work never carried out.
Now living in Sweden, she will be arrested and serve a third of her sentence on entering the UK.
