Jason Galvin's uncle told him he knew sports and didn't know when to shut up. Somehow, that became career advice.
Galvin's road to an NHRA microphone included getting fired from his first drag racing announcing job, bombing an NHRA audition and eventually climbing into a Super Comp dragster because he realized talking about drag racing wasn't enough.
Today, he's calling Top Fuel and Funny Car on Sundays. The road getting there was anything but smooth.
