Ice bucket challenge ACCEPTED!
PC Dave Holmes of #GrenvilleOPP’s Mobile Crisis Response Team (MCRT) was nominated for the challenge by a local business who wanted to bring more awareness to a local support for youth - Children’s Mental Health of Leeds & Grenville. The owner identified our MCRT as a champion of change, education and awareness, and issued the challenge - and what better time to accept this than during #MentalHealthWeek.
Thanks to our partners in #SafeCommunites, the @NG_FireService, for helping us out… You’ve now been nominated! - along with @UCDSB Prinicipal Johnston from South Grenville District High School, and our very own - Detachment Commander, Inspector Lisa Nicholas!
If you or someone you know is experiencing a #MentalHealth crisis, you can call 9-8-8, or download the @ConnexOntario app to find resources local to you. You are not alone. ^dh

Remember to prioritize #FireSafety when enjoying open-air burning in your backyard, cottage, or campground.
Leaving fires unattended can make them difficult to control and potentially lead to disaster.
Don’t forget to check your local bylaws for specific rules.
